about us

Our Library Learning Commons

The NHS Library Learning Commons (LLC) is a space where students can play one of our offline games, read a book, complete homework or work with a teacher on specific skills such as researching, questioning , critical thinking and communication through various media. We are also home to the NHS Makerspace, where we explore integration of the maker attitude into NHS classes and culture. We’ve explored VR, 3D printing, and more.

The Library Learning Commons (LLC) is a functioning classroom. As such, it can be closed without notice at any time during our normal operating hours (for classes, meetings, presentations, etc). Students are advised not to leave work until the last minute so as to avoid the disappointment of a closed LLC.
